What's Happening at NYCC?

On Sat. Jan. 31 from 12pm to 4pm our Justice Team will host the Bridge to Justice: Youth Empowerment & Engagement Forum, in partnership with the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission, the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester, and the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle. This dynamic event will include a basketball clinic, lunch, youth panel discussions, and breakout sessions, all designed to promote leadership, confidence, and meaningful opportunity for young people. Our new Triad season, “Growing Deeper” is here! As we begin this exciting new chapter of our Triads, I invite you to join me for an informational session on Sunday, February 1st, immediately after service to discuss the details of this Triad season. Being in a Triad is an invitation to journey with your NYCC brothers and sisters in Christ towards maturity in the faith as we pursue a deeper walk in Christ. If you’re looking to grow in faith and fellowship, then a Triad is definitely for you. Please see Pastor Greg with any questions


The Men’s & Women's Ministries invite you to a Big Screen Super Bowl Party, Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 at 6pm right here in our auditorium. This is a family event! We're celebrating the 'culture' - rep your flag, your country, your people. Game Time. Half Time. Fun Time. Enjoy activities, games, and friendly competitions for the entire family. As part of our Black History Month observance, we will be screening the documentary American Coup: Wilmington 1898 in two parts—Part One this Sunday, February 1 from 11:15 AM - 12noon, and Part Two on Sunday, February 8, in the church auditorium. The film tells the suppressed story of the 1898 white supremacist coup in Wilmington, North Carolina, where violence was used to overthrow a democratically elected government and destroy Black political and economic power. It follows how descendants and scholars today are uncovering this buried history and reckoning with its lasting impact.


Class 101 "Welcome to New York Covenant" will be Saturday, February 7th from 9am-12noon. This is our new members class. If you are interested in joining, already joined NYCC or just want to learn more about our church, this is your first class. Sign up here. Light breakfast served.


Every 3rd Sunday the Health & Wellness Ministry nurses will be available after service for blood pressure checks to help you know and understand your numbers upstairs in the conference room next to the elevator. Next wellness check is is Feb. 15th.


The Travel Ministry is hosting a second interest meeting on Sun., Feb 15 after service. Please meet us in the window lounge on the second floor (by the elevator) at 11:30. If you're interested in helping plan and coordinate escapes, expeditions and excursions, join us!


Every Saturday we have a Open Basketball Run for kids 12 and under from 10am-12noon every Saturday. Just call the church by Friday to let us know your child is coming. Must have a minimum of five kids.

Our Justice Team is excited to host a NACA Homebuyer Workshop on Saturday, February 28 from 10AM to 2PM. This free community workshop is designed to help individuals and families take real steps toward homeownership.
