What to Expect
A Warm Greeting
An authentic greeting is part of what makes a church the body of Christ. No matter what question you might have just ask, our greeters are there to make you feel comfortable.
There’s nothing like good food. We always have a small bite to eat after service, prepared by our own brother Chef Rahsaan White.
A casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. A place that is serious about joy, the kind of joy that comes from a cultivating relationship with God and others.
Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?” Expect for people to reach out to you in love.
We love music, we love dance. We love to worship through the arts. We use music, dance, deejaying, painting, spoken word, and whatever creativity the Lord has given us to show how much we love and honor Him.
The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At New York Covenant we seek to observe, interpret and apply God’s truth to every aspect of our lives in a spirit of love. You will find our foundational classes, Bible studies and small groups (we call them triads) are great ways to help you grow exponentially in God’s truth.
